ISA100.11a Wikipedia Entry

wireless-iconDuring my research into the current status of ISA100.11a, I was surprised to find little information on the web about it. I went ahead and created an entry for it, you can find it here.

ISA100.11a is a standard that is being developed my ISA that defines a radio specification for industrial process control and sensors.  It’s based off IEEE 802.15.4-2006, which operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band using DSSS.  It defines the method of mesh networking to be used that allows the radios to set up routing between radios to allow all radios in the network to communicate with each other.  This allows a greater range, as each radio can act as a router for other radios. Moved work website to local server

Crystal_Clear_app_networkI just moved my work website (otisinstruments.com) to our local server.  I’m an engineer that designs and develops wired and wireless gas detection for Otis Instruments.  We also implemented Zimbra as our new e-mail system.  Althouh, I did have some expert help for the migration.
